Rod Haydel President of Game Calls Inc

Rod is a veteran hunter of over 25 years of calling game in the field. He is President of “Haydel's Game Calls, Inc.,” in Bossier City, Louisiana the nations most popular complete line of game calls. Earning a musical scholarship to Northeast LA University for playing saxophone in 1981, Rod quickly realized the benefits of switching over and earning his bachelor degree in marketing in 1986 due to the uprise in the family business. Rod has appeared in numerous articles in leading hunting magazines and featured in many outdoor television shows.

 

He has won over forty Duck and Goose Calling contests and in 1991 took first place in the “Hunters World Goose Calling Contest”. Because of this he was recently inducted into Louisiana’s Sports Hall of Fame, in Shreveport, Louisiana along with his father, world renown Eli Haydel. He is the innovator of many products in the Haydel line of calls, which now consist of over 150 items.
